New authors are always looking for ways to advertise their book. Here’s an easy one: include it in your email signature. It’s free advertising; every email you send has the ability to connect with a potential reader.
It’s also a pretty good idea to have a separate email address for your publishing business or book. Get an account with your whole name or first initial and last name. Shoefanatic@yahoo.com doesn’t look like the email of a professional writer (unless your company or your book is called Shoe Fanatic!)
Back to your signature: most email services allow you to set up a signature that you can insert at the end of your emails. Here’s an example of how you can use it to advertise your book:
