Are You Selling Enough Books On Amazon?
Many authors I know are frustrated by Amazon.com. Amazon is the 800-lb gorilla of online book stores. Kindle books have a whopping 67% of the ebook market and Amazon has an overall 65% of all online book sales, both print and ebook.
How do you, the author, make sure that your book is seen by the millions of visitors to Amazon.com? How can you compete with the other 800,000 ebooks for sale in the Kindle store alone?
The answer is simple: You make it easy for people to find your book.
When most authors and publishers list their books to Amazon, they add the back cover blurb to the book description, select 2 categories, choose a few search terms and they’re done. People will find the book, buy it and post lots of reviews. Right?
Wrong. A lot of the time, that sales page hardly gets any hits and practically no sales. The sad thing is, with a little more research and promotion, that sales page would be found by a lot more potential buyers who will click “add to cart.”

Our print book wasn’t very visible on Amazon, and non-existent on Kindle eBooks. Then we used the keyword strategies from Amazon for Authors and saw our search placement jump to page 1 and 2.”

“If you are selling on Amazon and not receiving sales as expected, Mary Walewski’s webinar “Amazon for Authors” will provide answers and help. As an author selling books on Amazon, I always cringe when I need to add information or make changes on Amazon as it is a very difficult site to work with. I recently attended “Amazon for Authors” webinar and learned of new changes at Amazon that make it easier to promote books.
Mary Walewski’s webinars are straight forward and the presentation slides very helpful. I intend to implement some of the things I learned in the webinar as soon as possible. Thanks, Mary, for helping to simplify complex information.
